Beaucoup Baking with Jackie Ellis

Back from Ballymaloe Ireland

You’ll learn beautifully comforting dishes inspired by Erin’s cooking experiences in Ireland.  Start off with the traditional Irish Soda bread and learn its history.  Next up we’ll have a lentil salad with Irish farmhouse cheese, the main will be a beautiful warm Irish stew and finished off with a rustic tart.  To make the rustic tart we will learn how to make flakey pastry together! This is a 3 hour hands-on instruction. Course and 1 meal: $75 plus tax

Come learn the benefits of using whole spices and also the nutritional benefits of the variety of spices we can get our hands on today.  We will start with a Tomato and Rye yeasted bread, moving on to a starter of cod goujons with harissa mayonnaise – so delicious!  Harissa can be used in many dishes.  As our main we will create a mild madras curry with infused almond cream.  To finish everything off we will create a beautiful yogurt…
